As a talent partner, my main goal is to help my client to find and attract the best talent possible for its organization. This involves not only understanding its business needs, but also its culture, and then using a variety of strategies to identify, engage, and evaluate potential candidates.
I’ve been working with Letras Binárias since the beginning of the year, which is one of Hiire OÜ’s partners and it has been an amazing and rewarding experience.
Letras Binárias is an e-commerce specialist startup which are looking to expand its Engineering team.They have both internal and external projects, all of them attractive and exciting, which provides to their engineers the opportunity to grow and be part of something new .
At the beginning of this partnership, I invested some time on getting to know the client better and their specific needs.
I worked closely both with our CEO, Gonçalo, and with Jorge, the CEO of Letras Binárias, to understand the technical skills and professional experience required for each role, as well as the cultural fit and values that are important for the company.
With all this information, I developed a targeted recruitment strategy that included sourcing tactics, such as targeted job postings, and LinkedIn outreach. At the same time, we have been working on the branding of Letras Binárias, showing more about the company and making it even more appealing to the community.
As I began to identify potential candidates, I conducted initial video call screenings to assess their fit for the role and their interest in the company. I also worked together with Gonçalo and Jorge to develop a structured interview process that allowed us to evaluate both technical skills and cultural fit.
One of the most challenging aspects that we are currently facing is the lack of or late answers from candidates. On the bright side we were already able to close a position during the first month and another one in February!I am able to efficiently screen and evaluate candidates for different positions, and share with Letras Binárias some interesting profiles to close the remaining open vacancies.
This journey has been amazing and the fact that we were able to give value so soon makes me really happy and grateful for being part of this project, and we are just starting!
At the end of the day, my experience as a Talent Partner for Letras Binárias helps me realize the importance of knowing and understanding clearly the concrete needs and culture of an organization, and using different strategies to identify, engage, and evaluate the finest talent.
It is also exciting to be helping them with their 100% remote working model. The possibility of interviewing people from different countries besides portugal, such as Brazil, allows me to be in contact with other cultures, ways of living and thinkingIt has been an incredible experience, and cheers to more projects together!
